Salsa by Nutri Bullet Review

I recently got the Magic Bullet by Nutri Bullet and wanted to try making something with it. So, I went to their website and found their recipe for their smoky spicy salsa.

When I was making this recipe, I noticed some things quickly. First, their recipe called for one canned chipotle pepper, and I was unsure if they meant the can or just one pepper, so I ended up using just one pepper. Second, I had the wrong blender but made the recipe with it. I split the blending into smaller batches, and it turned out well. There were only so many other things I noticed were wrong with the recipe, and it turned out well. Third, there was one pepper, dried chilies de arbol that I could not find, and I am sure that it changed the flavor but I did like it without the missing peppers.

There are a lot of jalapenos and cilantro, which I like about the recipe, which gives it a nice flavor, along with the oven-roasted jalapenos, garlic, and onions. The color of the salsa was not what I was expecting; it was more brown than red, the typical color of tomato salsa, and I think that that is from the Chipoltle pepper, even though I only added one, which I do not think is the correct amount for the spice level that is assumed by the title. I also noticed some spelling mistakes while following the recipe but did not understand what they meant, so I saw it as a minor issue.

Other than the downfalls, I liked the recipe and thought it was well-written. The instructions were easy to follow, and the result was similar to the photos they provided as an example. It was a simple recipe that I think most people can follow, and most of the ingredients were very accessible, and I found almost everything in one store. I like how the recipe turned out and thought it was enjoyable and delicious. I recommend that you try this recipe out, even if you don't have a blender.
